Whether it is for strengthening, flexibility or relaxation, there is a class for your needs. All classes are multi-level, and will provide options for beginners.
Go back to the foundations. Whether you’re a newcomer to yoga, or a seasoned yogi, it is always good to go back to basics. Expect more focus on alignment and technique when taking classes in this cloud.
Life is all about balance, whether it is physical, mental or spiritual. Yoga has what it takes to help you attain that! In a Balance class, you’ll work on improving your focus while strengthening your body for an overall sense of well-being.
Blessed are those who bend, for they will never break! Expect to bend in all directions! Forwards, backwards, sideways… Come with an open mind, you will leave with an open heart.
If you think yoga is static and boring, this cloud may change your perceptions! In a Flow class, you are challenged to find ease and grace in movement by linking each movement to your breath. By the end of the class, you may find that the vinyasa is not the only thing flowing, the sweat flows too!
Smashing expectations that yoga is just stretch and relaxation, strengthen are our rendition of power yoga and core work. We may also take flight in the addictive world of arm balances and inversion. Don’t be scared to attend a class in this Cloud, variations will always be provided! While this class will offer options for beginners, it is preferred if attendees have a regular yoga practice.
A fixed sequence class that synchronises breath and movement to purify the body. A regular ashtanga practice will build strength, stamina and flexibility. The ashtanga practice was codified by K Pattabhi Jois in the 20th century and one of the most popular forms of yoga styles around the world. In a led class, you will be guided through the sequence by the instructor. All Ashtanga-Led classes are 90 minutes.
Forrest Yoga is a yoga style that is accessible to everyone, you do not need strength or flexibility to start. It is a style of yoga designed to suit the needs of different body types, and does not force the body into a pose. Forrest focuses strengthening postures for healing, and relaxation techniques so that you can breathe deeper.
At Akash Yoga, Play is the Akash signature class as we believe in keeping our practice light-hearted and fun. The surprise, however, is in the class, which we won’t spoil for you. Just come!
Feeling all stressed from the week? Strrreeeetch it out and you may feel ready to take on the world again! The Stretch Cloud is all about longer holds in asanas to help release tension in the body, with focus on finding ease and relaxation in the poses. We may also challenge your flexibility in these classes!
If you’re feeling a little bloated or stuck, our Twist classes may give your body the boost it needs. Expect many twisting and binding poses that will help to release tension in the lower back, open the chest and detoxify the body!
